A TEENAGER has been locked up to await trial for allegedly trying to suffocate a woman. Conner Westall appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Friday, November 24. The 18-year-old, of Craven Dean, Newbury, is accused of interfering with a woman’s ability to breathe in Newbury on Monday, October 2. He is further charged with assaulting the woman by beating her on the same occasion.
