A recent NJ Advance Media story about which transportation projects will bepartly funded by pending 2024 toll hikes states that the Atlantic City Expressway “is moving forward with installation of the state’s first all-electronic toll collection system.” Is this something people demanded? If not, who proposed cashless tolls, and was there an open public comment period?
