It can sometimes be traumatic for Liverpool fans to think back to the pre-Jurgen Klopp days. The Reds struck gold when hiring Klopp in 2015, having been through a succession of disappointing managers over the previous five years. Kenny Dalglish is the exception to that, with the King taking charge – and winning a trophy – between 2011 and 2012. Either side of Dalglish though, was Brendan Rodgers and – shudder – Roy Hodgson.
